Dang it! The Steak & Shake located at 2011 Eatonton Road in Madison has closed. According to the former General Manager Stedman Taylor, the 33 employees of the fast food chain got little notice of the closure. But, Stedman said many local businesses have been in touch to let the employees know they are hiring. “It means a lot that the community is reaching out,” he said. When I peeped in the window, I noticed the restaurant had a health inspection score of 98A! “I was really proud of that,” said Taylor who has worked at the restaurant for nine months. By the way, Stedman is a 2008 grad of Morgan County High School and 2008 Class President! Ok so if anyone wants to get in touch with Stedman about hiring employees, just email dianneyost@gmail.com or call 706-318-7966 and I’ll put you in touch.

That’s it for the buzz y’all! Enjoy this beautiful Spring!
