RISING FAWN, GA – Travis “Pop” Westbrook, 89. Passed away September 19, 2019. He was a member of Lea’s Chapel Baptist Church, Valley Head, Alabama. Mr. Westbrook proudly served his country in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his wife Martha Westbrook, parents Lloyd and Exa De Alva Westbrook.
Survivors include his daughters Linda (Danny) Swafford of Apison, Tenn., Susan (Randy) Gross, Birchwood, Tenn., Christine Westbrook of Henagar, Ala., Emily Westbrook of Flat Rock, Ala., sons Travis “Tab” (Robin) Westbrook Jr. of Rising Fawn and David (Brenda) Westbrook of Madison; 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Memorial services were held Tuesday, September 24 at 2 p.m. CDT at Lea’s Chapel Baptist Church, Valley Head, Ala. with Brother Richard Ellis officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery with full military honors.
