This year, four Madison designers are among the 22 designers featured in Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles 2019 Home for the Holidays Showhouse and Marketplace. Each designer has a space to display their design talents from lounge space, bedrooms, outdoor spaces, dining rooms and more.

But what makes this showhouse so amazing is the huge presence that local Madison designers brought to this year’s event. Indeed, Dan Belman and Randy Korando, owners of Atlanta’s iconic Buckhead Gardens & Gifts shop, organized and curated the event’s Holiday Marketplace.

Zeb Grant, interior designer, owner of the Zeb Grant Design shop in Madison and President of the Madison-Morgan Convention & Visitors Bureau, designed the showhome’s rear covered terrace space with outdoor furnishings, accessories and his signature floral accents. Grant created a relaxing, outdoor oasis that serves as the connection point from the open living-kitchen space to the lush back lawn. The rear terrace features comfortable, contemporary club chairs with a wooden frame and woven seat that provides textural interest and a comfortable sitting space.  Four poof ottomans balance out the space and provide extra seating. Large accent pillows in soft sage green are paired with two teal, porcelain accent tables to add color and interest. Grant also placed a beautiful, large glass-blown lamp and small bright paintings on a narrow wooden table at the rear of the space as a focal point. Zeb’s furniture selections, accessories and lamps are available through his interior design and gift shop.

Interior designer Jimmy Stanton, owner of Stanton Home Furnishings in Atlanta, reimagined an upstairs office space into an amazing “tower lounge.” He chose his signature painting style that uses one color on the walls, trim and ceiling to expand and open the space. The collection of modern art played a big factor in creating an appealing focal point to the lounge, which was paired with four leather club chairs to foster comfort and conversation. Two accent chairs next to the large corner windows provide the perfect place to enjoy an amazing bird’s eye view outside.  All of the furnishings, lamps, art and accessories can be found at Stanton Home Furnishings in Atlanta or at www.stantonhomefurnishings.com.

The Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles 11th annual Home for the Holidays Designer Showhouse is located on a wooded, four-acre lot at 4825 Woodvale Drive, NW in Sandy Springs. The home was transformed from a 1950s Saltbox into a 5,500 square foot, five-bedroom home by The O’Donnell Group (developer) and Harrison Design (architects).  The home is on tour from now until Dec. 8. Tour days are Thursdays – Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Proceeds from the tour benefit Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation.
