When it comes to region tournament seeding, every game is important as teams start jockeying for position in the early going of the 8-AAA schedule.  The Morgan County boys picked up their second region win of the season with a victory over Jackson County last Tuesday.  The home matchup places the Dogs in fifth place in the region at 2-3 and gives them a 2-8 record on the season.  The Bulldogs lost to Villa Rica 56-40 this past weekend and will travel to Tallahassee, FL for a tournament game with Lincoln High School on the 28th in their next holiday game.  They will then play South Cobb in the Big South Shootout in Austell before returning home for their first game of the 2020 new year vs. Monroe Area on Jan. 3.
