Morgan also defeated Monroe Area later in the week. Coach Stacy Manger said, “I gotta brag on my kids after the win. The Hurricanes’ coach sent me an email last night. I’d love to do an article on sportsmanship. Our teams are loaded with it and are first class. Especially our number three singles Sara Moore. The note read: “Thanks and the same for your team. All but a few of our players are pretty much newcomers and second year players of the sport. My number three singles ladies had high praise for your number three (Moore) for her sportsmanship. Please let them all know that I and the team thank them for all their patience. Not many schools exhibit that level of sportsmanship while playing at the level your ladies and men do. Good luck this season and see you in April.”
Folks, it’s always been known that our coaches and young student-athletes make us proud every day. Not just with their tremendous athletic ability, but how they represent our school and community. Thank you to all our coaches, administrators, parents, kids, and supporters for making Morgan County a shining example.
