A Boones Bridge Road resident was arrested Monday and charged with multiple drug charges.

According to Lt. Brandon Sellers, Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, Morgan County officials executed a Fourth Amendment probation search warrant at the residence of Marvin Lanier Brown, 45, Madison.

Consequent to the search, Sellers said, Brown has been charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of Ecstasy with the intent to distribute and possession of THC pins with the intent to distribute. All charges are felonies, Sellers said.

Authorities entered Brown’s residence at 2 p.m. Sellers said 24 suspected Ecstasy pills, approximately two ounces of suspected marijuana and suspected THC pins were taken. Also, he said, $5,372 in cash was found and seized.

Sellers said authorities had been investigating Brown for the last six months but recent complaints from citizens sparked executing the search warrant.

Sellers said Boones Bridge Road has one entrance and one exit and area residents reported a heavy volume of vehicle traffic on the road.
