Michael Wayne Rogers, 68 of Madison, died June 26, 2020. He was surrounded by his family. Mr. Rogers was born in Chamblee on October 2, 1951 to Alvin and Martha Ivy Rogers. He was married to Marian Greeson. Mr. Rogers worked as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. Most recently he worked for Oldcastle. He was a farmer at heart. He loved all animals but especially horses and all his dogs. He enjoyed fishing and water sports but more than anything else, he loved his family.
Mr. Rogers is survived by his wife, Marian and children, Ronnie Wayne Dutton, Jr. and Samantha Ann, Michael Shane Rogers, April Michelle Rogers, Lajuana Lea Dutton and Michelle Shea and Patrick. He also leaves grandchildren, Eryn and Emily Dutton and Tripp and Reagyn Shea. Mr. Rogers also has a sister, Martha Ann Baker and Terry.
The family received friends on Monday, June 29 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at A.E. Carter Funeral Home. The funeral service began at 3 p.m. in the chapel.
