Philip Harold Holder, age 86, of Austell, passed away September 19, 2020. Mr. Holder is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Harriette Holder; sons, Jeff (Diane) Holder and John (Jill) Holder; grandchildren, Josh Holder, Stephanie Holder, Dane Holder, Travis Holder and Abby Holder; great grandchildren, Tinsley Holder, John Holder, Aria Holder and Alivia Holder; brother, Kenneth (Evelyn) Holder and sister, Ellen Dennis.

Mr. Holder was a graduate of West Fulton High School (class of 1952) and later graduated from Atlanta Christian College and remained active with West Fulton High School Owl Club. He retired as the Pastor of Midway Christian Church in Austell having ministered there for 19 years. He was the founding minister of Madison Christian Church and served as Pastor there twice and also ministered in Bee Tree Christian Church in Swannanoa, NC for two years. Mr. Holder was a member of the Atlanta Track Club regularly running the Peachtree Road Race for many years. He was very interested in genealogy and enjoyed researching ancestry.

In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Midway Christian Church Mission Fund. A memorial service will be held at a later date. White Columns Chapel & Cremations is honored to serve the family of Philip H. Holder.
