On Dec. 1, Oscar Kelly Sasnett, 37, Madison was arrested at the Relax Inn on an outstanding felony state probation violation warrant, according to reports.
On Dec. 1, an information report was filed at a Brown Lane residence. According to reports, a woman said she contacted a man on a Facebook app regarding repairing her son’s vehicle at her house. Reports state that the man estimated he could repair the engine in two days at the woman’s residence. Instead, the woman said, the man took the engine away and reported that he needed to do so to repair the engine. The woman said the man also charged her more than $1,000 and that the engine was only worth $600. The woman said she wants the original engine returned and wants her money back.
On Dec. 1, Johnny Ray Durance, 46, Social Circle, was arrested on an outstanding felony parole warrant following a traffic stop, according to reports.
On Dec. 1, deputies responded to a Greensboro Road residence in reference to a writ of possession which led to an arrest. According to reports, a local realtor advised deputies she was attempting to make contact with the occupants to no avail. Deputies arrived on the scene with the writ of possession papers and eventually made contact with the two occupants, Emily Edwards and Charles Earl Bradley. Bradley was subsequently arrested for an outstanding probation violation warrant and occupants were given two days to vacate the property.
On Dec. 1, deputies responded to a report of vehicle damage by April Cain, 48, Madison. According to reports, Cain and her daughter were traveling behind a truck and trailer belonging to Southern Ag Company. Cain alleges a yellow metal object struck her windshield, causing damage and believed the metal came from the large flatbed trailer that had just passed them on Ga. 83 near the Jasper County line. Deputies contacted the driver of who was not aware of any item coming from his truck and did not see anything missing from the trailer’s contents which were strapped and secured.
On Dec. 3, Davunte Cordez Reynolds, 26, Madison, was arrested and charged with possession of heroin and an outstanding warrant. According to reports, a vehicle in which Reynolds was a passenger was stopped on Athens Highway for a tag violation. Reports state that several deputies recognized Reynolds and were aware that Reynolds had an outstanding arrest warrant against him. Consequent to his arrest, reports state that a deputy located a tin foil packet with 0.4 grams of suspected heroin in the pocket of a pair of shorts Reynolds was wearing under his clothing. A second suspected packet was found in the pouch of a hoodie Reynolds was wearing.
On Dec. 4, deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle accident in the intersection of Bostwick Highway and Speed Lane. According to reports, the black Dodge Ram pickup truck, registered to Milledgeville residents Donna Divincezo and Kenny Louis Brown, was in a ditch and missing the front passenger tire. Reports state there was a Bud Light bottle, still cold to the touch, under the brake and accelerator pedal and a cooler and a 12 pack carton of Bud Light in the front passenger seat.
On Dec. 5, Micah Firios, 21, Madison, was cited for marijuana possession less than one ounce following a traffic stop for speeding on Bethany Church Road, according to reports.
On Dec. 6, Damarcus Peek, 26, Madison, was arrested for probation violation following a traffic stop at Bethany Road and Madison Bypass, according to reports.
