A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 06, 2021 at Madison Historic Cemetery.
On Wednesday, August 29, 1945, at 12:01 a.m., a beautiful baby girl was born to the late Eugene and Francile McWhorter in Madison.
Frances began her formal education at Flat Rock Baptist Church School and later, Pearl High School in Madison.
Frances left Madison for Miami, Florida, to be with her mother, the late Francile Boswell-McWhorter. She later moved to Staten Island, New York, in search of employment. Frances began working as an adult caregiver in New York. After a few years of working in Staten Island, New York, she returned back to Madison. Frances worked as a nanny in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Roman until her retirement. The Romans were more of an extended family to Frances who loved both Faith and Luke.
Frances leaves to mourn: one son, Williem Clarence McWhorter (Tami); three grandchildren, Destin, Meshaev, and Trey McWhorter, two sisters, Fannie Dean and Katherine McShane; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, including Delvin (Jessica) and Weldon Dean. Her strong mind and kind heart will be missed by all.
