We can enjoy the warmer weather of spring soon. That date is March 20. It will be nice for people to start gardening soon. The school …

By Betty Moore, Columnist We all have something to say about the weather. We had about 11 degrees one morning. Up in Tennessee and places north they had very low temperatures. My brother B.T. lives in Manchester, Tennessee. They had about five below zero or more. They had a tree limb to fall on the power line. It knocked electricity off about 24 hours. He had a generator, a grill and his lights with the generator and had heat from a heater. The generator kept the freezer and refrigerator …

I pray that there will not be wrecks in the fog where people are hurt or vehicles are destroyed. We have very few news items. It is because we are just through the holidays and people are staying home I guess. We have two birthdays Mac Kenzie Mullins has a birthday on January 16; …

They enjoyed refreshments following the program. Edna Smith has a painful place on her leg. At her church she bumped her leg on a trailer hitch. A place got really big and busted. I can sympathize with that. I did the same thing one time. Talking about hurting – it was terrible. Tommy and Judy Lawrence came to …
