On Nov. 10 a theft by taking complaint was filed at the intersection of Pinetree Circle and Bethany Road. According to reports, a woman alleged that after she gave her 14-year-old son $50 to go to the store, another juvenile took the money as the teen was walking to the store and pushed the woman’s son to the ground. On Nov. 7 Demarcus Treyvone Peek, 25, Madison was arrested and charged with criminal trespass. According to reports, an officer was dispatched to the Budget Inn, Eatonton Road, regarding a man staying in a room without paying. Reports state that the officer met with a Budget Inn employee who gained access to room 115 and found Peek and a woman in the room. On Oct. 29 a gunfire ordinance violation complaint was filed at a Micha Way residence. According to reports, an officer responded within a minute to an anonymous caller reporting hearing four or five gun shots. When the officer arrived at 10:15 p.m. he conducted a foot patrol. A second officer reported locating a small pool of suspected blood at the bottom of a stairwell. According to reports, a woman alleged that she and the father of her 7-year-old son had gone to the school to attend their child’s football game. On Oct. 13 a dog bit complaint was filed at a Prospect Road residence. According to reports, a deputy reported he went to the Prospect Road residence in regard to a threat complaint. The deputy said while he was speaking with the property owner, the owner’s Blue Healer dog lunged from the porch and attacked the deputy. On Oct. 6 Christian Malebranche, 29, Smyrna was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of marijuana, less than an ounce, open container and tail light requirements. According to reports, a deputy performed a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Malebranche on Interstate 20 at 12:25 a.m. Consequent to the traffic stop for non-working tail lights, the deputy reported Malebranche told him he had just been released from prison. According to reports, an employee said a man known to him as a customer pulled up to the pumps. On Sept. 5 Jaymeshia Flowers, 18, Sparta, was cited for shoplifting and served with a criminal trespass notice at Walmart, Eatonton Road. According to reports, an officer was called to Walmart regarding an employee allegedly voiding three transactions for a total of approximately $130. On Aug. 30, a revised shoplifting and giving false name report was re-filed with the Madison Police Department. According to reports, following an earlier report charging Deondra Letetra Jackson, 27, with giving false name following an alleged shoplifting, an officer was contacted by Deondra Jackson who told the officer that a Daniell Faust, no age, no address given, had called her and told her she had used her name during the arrest.
