According to reports, a man told a deputy that he and his girlfriend had been arguing most of the day and that at one point, when the girlfriend was asleep, the complainant turned off a television set. On April 15 a warrant for battery and cruelty to children was sought against Deevis Melinda Jackson, 44, Madison. According to reports, Jackson allegedly went to a Morgan Circle residence seeking a woman who made a post on Facebook that Jackson disagreed with. Once inside, reports state, two males wearing hooded clothing removed three AR 15 rifles, a .410 shotgun, a 1959 Milwaukee Braves collector’s baseball valued at $2,500 and various precious metals. According to reports, officers responded to a complaint call regarding a possible drunk driver near the Hampton Inn, Eatonton Road area.
