According to reports, the warrant was issued after deputies were called to an Apalachee Road residence after someone had damaged a rear basement door and apparently entered the residence. A woman at the residence contacted deputies and told them that Almand was attempting to cash a $300 check at her local bank and that she had not written a check to Almand. According to reports, an employee said that a gray 4-door SUV driven by a white, teenage male came through the drive-through and ordered two chocolate and two strawberry milkshakes. The employee said the teen attempted to pay for the order with a counterfeit $20 bill. The employee took the bill but did not apply it to the order. On May 14 Thomas Lyndal Bronston, 46, Marietta, was arrested and charged with speeding and driving while license suspended. According to reports, Bronston was stopped while allegedly driving 85 mph in a 70 mph zone on Interstate 20. According to reports, a man stated that while he was pumping gas into his motorcycle, he placed his wallet on top of his motorcycle. According to reports, Morgan County deputies responded to an assistance call from deputies with the Greene County Sheriff’s Office regarding a car chase.
