On March 11 a burglary and theft by taking complaint was filed at 441 Pawn, Eatonton Road. According to reports, someone used a sledge hammer to batter open a front door. Once inside, reports state, two males wearing hooded clothing removed three AR 15 rifles, a .410 shotgun, a 1959 Milwaukee Braves collector’s baseball valued at $2,500 and various precious metals. On March 4 Curtis Price, 28, North Augusta, S.C. was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, less than an ounce. According to reports, Price was stopped on Interstate 20 for allegedly speeding. Consequent to the traffic stop, reports state, a deputy stated he smelled an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Reports state that Price allegedly told the deputies that he had a small bag of marijuana in a backpack sitting on the rear floorboard. On Feb. 24 Noah Alexander Trammell, 21, Madison was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, less than an ounce. According to reports, officers were called to Flash Foods, Eatonton Road in regards to a man allegedly attempting to sell customers marijuana. On Feb. 25 Dylan James Edwards, 19, Watkinsville, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, less than an ounce and safety belt violation. According to reports, a deputy reported that he allegedly observed Edwards driving a Ford pickup truck while not wearing a seatbelt. On Feb. 24 Kenneth Lee Youngblood, 53, Madison was arrested and charged with DUI refusal, failure to maintain lane and possession of open container. According to reports, officers responded to a complaint call regarding a possible drunk driver near the Hampton Inn, Eatonton Road area.
