On Sept. 10 a lost handgun report was field at Hickory Point Drive, Buckhead. According to reports, a woman said she placed her .38 caliber revolver on the hood of her vehicle to unlock a door. The woman said she then placed her other belongings in the vehicle and then drove off without retrieving the weapon. On Sept. 10 Leonard Lee Davis, 35, Madison was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. According to reports, officers were called to a Micha Way residence after a woman alleged that Davis had been drinking and had become verbally abusive to both her and her teenage son. The woman said the son called 911 at one point. The woman said she was trying to leave the residence to stay with family but Davis would not relinquish the car keys. Seven applications interested in setting up shop in the Canaan Corner Store, have poured in to the Downtown Development Authority for review. According to reports, a woman reported that after she left an outside waiting area to join her table, someone took her Vera Bradley wallet. The woman said  she noticed the wallet missing when the bill came and she attempted to pay for the dinner.
