On May 16 Donald Swain, 25, Madison, was arrested and charged with two counts of sale of marijuana, two counts of sale of cocaine, one count of possession marijuana with the intent to distribute and one count possession of cocaine. According to reports, Swain allegedly sold marijuana and cocaine to a person on two occasions. On May 16 a search warrant was executed on Swain’s Micha Way apartment. According to reports, deputies were dispatched to a burglary in progress complaint and met the complainant at the intersection of Reids Ferry Road and Old Seven Islands Road. According to reports, a 5-year-old child’s father told authorities that when he had visitation of his daughter, he noticed several contusions on the child’s buttocks and legs. On May 2 a recovered stolen handgun report was filed at a Penor Street location. According to reports, officers had arrived at a Penor Street residence as part of a multi-jurisdictional arrest warrant sweep. While searching the residence, an officer located a pistol grip 12 gauge shotgun under a pile of clothes in a closet and a .38 caliber pistol located between a mattress and box springs in the same room.
