On May 18 Dewey Blevins, 41, Watkinsville was arrested and charged with aggravated stalking. According to reports, a woman at Pilot Truck Stop called authorities and said that she had a temporary protective order against Blevins and that he had approached her at the truck stop. On May 26 Russell Andrew Kent, 20, Bethlehem was arrested and charged with DUI and possession of marijuana, less than an ounce. According to reports, a deputy responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint at the the Country Store, Bostwick Highway at 3:26 a.m. When the deputy arrived he allegedly observed Kent asleep in a gray Ford Explorer next to gas pumps at the store. The woman said the scratches were the results, in part, of an on-going handicap parking spot dispute. According to reports, an elderly woman stated that she received and answered a call from a man claiming to be from the Social Security Administration. The woman said she had a difficult time remembering the content of the call but that she wrote a $2,000 check. According to reports, Sasnett was arrested at his East Jefferson Street residence while he was allegedly burning a woman’s personal items on a charcoal grill.
