According to reports, a deputy observed Hardge failing to stop at a stop light at the intersection of Main Street in Madison and Bostwick Highway. On Feb. 27 William Todd Ayres, 48, Madison was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, criminal trespass and interference with a business. According to reports, an officer responded to a complaint at Amici’s, West Washington St., regarding a man screaming and cussing at employees. When the officer arrived the person had left. On March 1 a criminal trespass and damage to property complaint was filed at Companion Animal Rescue, Atlanta Highway. According to reports, an employee reported that someone had damaged the business sign in front of the establishment, apparently kicking the bottom of the sign. The employee said one person had recently been posting “badgering” messages on the business’ Facebook page. On Feb. 28 a trespass warning was issued at a Mallard Ridge Road residence. Wes Thompson, Madison Police Department, Morgan County Sheriff’s Office authorities and Walton County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Arnold Merle McDonald, 60, at his home at approximately 2:30 p.m. without incident. On Feb. 23 Tyree Jameel Sutton, 24, Columbia, S.C. was arrested and charged with felony possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug related objects and violation of move-over law. On Feb. 12 a burglary complaint was filed at a Wellington Street residence. According to reports, a man alleged that while he was incarcerated someone entered his residence and removed several articles of his clothing. On Feb. 16 a burglary complaint was filed at a Heidi Trail, Buckhead residence. According to reports, man said someone had forced entry into the residence by shattering the glass on a back door with a large cross. The complainant said a 2003 Mercedes E320 valued at $9,000 was missing from the garage. The investigation also moved from Morgan County into Dekalb and Rockdale counties where massive kilos of methamphetamine and a half kilo of heroin was seized. According to Lt. The following persons were indicted. • Devarski Antonio Bennett, 34, Louisville, Ga. was re-indicted on one count trafficking in methamphetamine, one count possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, one count defective equipment and two counts speeding. According to court documents, Bennett was arrested on April 19, 2019 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper for allegedly speeding on Interstate 20. On Feb. 8 a lost property complaint was filed at Rutledge Crossing, Atlanta Highway, Rutledge. According to reports, a man said after using the restroom at the store he walked across the street to the Dollar General and noticed that he was missing his wallet. On Jan. 30 Christopher Marlow Bonner, 23, Lithonia was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, speeding and driving while license suspended. According to reports, a vehicle Bonner was allegedly driving 113 mph in a 70 mph zone on Interstate 20 was stopped for speeding. On Feb. 2 Kevaugh O Castello, 30, Jamaica, N.Y. was arrested and charged with reckless driving. According to reports, a deputy responded to a complaint call regarding a reckless driver on Interstate 20. The deputy allegedly observed a vehicle driven by Castello going 120 mph. On Jan. 26 Dashawn Mailk Grant, 23, North Charleston, S.C. was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, speeding, DUI refusal and no license on person.
